INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
From 28th August to 07th September 2024
The 81. International Film Festival is organised by La Biennale di Venezia, with the aim of promoting the knowledge and diffusion of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment, and industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue.
The world's oldest film exhibition takes place at the Venice Lido and is officially recognised by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers' Associations).
A section is dedicated to the valorisation of restoration of classic films in order to contribute to the knowledge of the history of cinema, particularly for the benefit of a purely young audience.
